Here are some exercises I've documented in which you might be interested. First four are warm-ups I got from Bernie Nero while taking lessons from him. He said he did these first every day. "They cover the entire range of the instrument, and after I do these I go on to whatever else."
Scales Down | Chromatics | Diatonic Scales | Intervals |
Next are some I've documented that are borrowed from former teachers, and they admittedly borrowed from various books. I call them my "come back exercises" because I use them to build chops after a sustained absence. Playing trumpet to me is a lot like playing golf. You can't be perfect at it. And now and then you just plain get pissed off and leave it alone for a while.
So the first one comes from the late Sidney Mear with whom I studied at Eastman, borrowed from Schlossberg. The second is pure Jimmy Stamp, which was kept in high regard by Lyman Brodie. And the third is a take on lip slurs that was given to me by Robert Nagel. Certainly they are useful for more than just bringing back chop strength.

Have at them. Let me know if anything is useful to you.
